Sample Supports' is seeking motivated undergraduate students who want hands‑on experience in residential services, case coordination, quality assurance, compliance, and community‑based support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This internship is a great fit for students studying social work, psychology, healthcare administration, human services, or another helping profession. You will work alongside experienced residential professionals while building practical skills that can prepare you for a future career in human services.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with quality‑assurance reviews and documentation audits
  • Support compliance monitoring for Medicaid and state requirements
  • Help organize individual records, training documentation, incident reports, and compliance materials
  • Participate in residential visits and provider‑support activities
  • Assist with residential assessments and health and safety monitoring
  • Attend interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions
  • Communicate professionally with individuals, providers, families, guardians, and team members
  • Learn about Host Home, Family Caregiver, PCA, and supported apartment services
  • Observe and report health, safety, documentation, or compliance concerns
  • Build professional relationships with residential providers and community partners
  • Gain limited exposure to direct services to better understand residential programming
  • Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and HIPAA standards
  • Complete other internship projects based on learning goals and program needs
