Job summary
ABC Nannies & Domestics, Inc. in the Denver area is seeking experienced childcare providers for flexible, part-time and full-time opportunities. Roles are live-out, with assignments in Central Denver and surrounding communities, typically 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Expect 20–30+ hours weekly, including evenings and weekends as needed. We welcome babysitters, daycare or preschool staff, gym childcare providers and students building a childcare career.
Qualifications
- Experience caring for children in babysitting, daycare, or nanny roles (1+ year).
- Have 2+ professional and personal references.
- Own a reliable vehicle, valid license and proof of auto insurance.
- 18+ years old and a high school graduate.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction.
- Non-smoker.
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire).
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, nurturing and engaging childcare for children of varying ages in local family homes.
- Plan developmentally appropriate activities, including reading, crafts, games, outdoor play and learning opportunities.
- Support daily routines such as meals, naps, diapering, playtime and transitions, depending on the children's ages.
- Follow each family's care instructions, communicate professionally with parents and maintain a tidy childcare environment.
- Arrive prepared, adapt confidently to new households and consistently demonstrate Jovie's core values: Can-Do Attitude, Results Matter and Leave It Better.
- Travel approximately 15-20 miles to local childcare assignments.

Located at: Central Denver and surrounding communities
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: We have both full and part-time opportunities. Candidates should be available 2-3+ days per week, Monday-Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Preference for candidates seeking 20-30+ hours per week. Evening, weekend, special-event and church-care assignments are also be available!
Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for a minimum of 3+ months - much longer if it’s a great match!
Start Date: ASAP
Children's Ages: Infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school-age children.
About the Children:
- Each assignment is unique! You'll care for children of varying ages, personalities and developmental stages, from babies needing attentive care to active toddlers and school-age children who love games, crafts and outdoor play.
- Daily routines and childcare needs vary by family. You'll help children feel safe, comfortable and engaged while following each family's established routines.
About the Family:
- Jovie partners with families throughout the Denver and Boulder metro area who need dependable, professional childcare for temporary, backup, part-time and occasional care.
- You'll work with a variety of families and household routines while building valuable experience in a professional, in-home childcare setting.
- Our local Jovie team helps coordinate assignments and provides support, so you can focus on what you do best: caring for children!
About the Pets:
- Some families have pets. Candidates should be comfortable working in pet‑friendly homes.

- This is an excellent opportunity for experienced babysitters, daycare or preschool employees, gym childcare providers and students who want to build their childcare careers.
- You don't need previous professional nanny experience! We value hands‑on childcare experience, reliability and a genuine love of working with children.
- Jovie provides W‑2 employment and coordinates childcare assignments, eliminating the need to find and arrange every babysitting job independently.

Travel Requirements:
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel approximately 15-20 miles to local childcare assignments.
- We're looking for someone who is warm, dependable, proactive and adaptable. You genuinely enjoy children, communicate clearly, take initiative and understand that families and your Jovie team are counting on you to honor your commitments.
- Experience caring for babies and toddlers is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable independently caring for children of different ages and adapting to new family routines.
- Confident managing age-appropriate activities, children's safety and everyday childcare responsibilities.
- Professional, punctual and comfortable working in different home environments.
- Interested in building childcare experience and becoming a valued member of a supportive local team.
- Jovie is offering $19.50-$21.50/hour (gross), based on experience.
- Jovie offers W‑2 employment, biweekly pay, paid leave, access to retirement savings plan, scheduling based on agreed-upon availability, coordinated childcare assignments and access to a supportive local team.

- The ideal candidate will be an experienced childcare provider with at least 1+ year of hands‑on experience caring for children. Previous babysitter and nanny experience is welcome but not required. Experience in daycare, preschool, gym childcare, babysitting or similar settings is highly valued.
