Job summary

Jovie is hiring caregivers to join our center and sitter team serving the Greater Pittsburgh Area. You’ll provide safe, engaging childcare in centers, family homes, and events, with compensation of $17-$20 per hour and benefits like PTO, health, retirement options, bonuses, travel reimbursement, staffing incentives, and rewards programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging, and high-quality care for children in childcare centers, family homes, and at events
• Support childcare center staff with classroom coverage and daily routines
• Step in to provide backup care for families when their regular childcare arrangements are unavailable
• Adapt to different environments, age groups, routines, and children’s needs
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and childcare center teams
• Communicate clearly and professionally about each assignment
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to make a difference!

Location: Greater Pittsburgh Area, including but not limited to: Wexford, Allison Park, Fox Chapel, Sewickley, Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, North Side, Mount Lebanon, Oakland, Moon, Cranberry, Plum, Green Tree, Downtown, Irwin, Leechburg, Canonsburg, McDonald, Regent Square, Gibsonia, Valencia, and more!

Availability Requirements

• Weekday Availability: Monday-Friday, with availability between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM

• Weekend Availability: Must be available at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM

• Travel: Must be comfortable commuting up to 45 minutes to assignments throughout the greater Pittsburgh area
