Child Care Resources Inc in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Baby Room Teacher to create a caring, nurturing and safe environment for infants, implementing activities to support development and communicating with families.

The role requires English and Spanish communication, teamwork, adherence to state guidelines, and ongoing professional development; experience in childcare and CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Full-time benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

A Baby room Teacher is here to create a caring, nurturing and safe environment for the children and implement activities to improve the overall development of each child. Our baby room teacher must be able to communicate in English and Spanish, listen and work well with others in a team environment and follow directions and state guidelines. Assisting each child in reaching their developmental milestones to transition to the next classroom, developing positive relationships with each child and their parents, and providing a safe and caring classroom setting. Baby room teachers observe and document children's interest and progress, and relays that information back to parents and staff. Teachers are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs under the direction of the Director.

What You'll Do

• Implement curriculum activities and meet developmental goals
• Actively engage in supervision; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials
• Maintain frequent communications with parents and administrative staff
• Help ensure smooth, daily transitions
• Follow all center policies and state regulations
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Maintain certifications and complete all required trainings
