Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation in Boston, MA seeks a Business Analysis Manager to lead the BA team, manage project intake and incidents, and partner with IT and business leaders to maximize value through effective analysis and process improvement.

The role requires 15+ years in the SDLC with IT-driven BA experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a high-volume environment. On-site presence in Boston four days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (or equivalent).
• 15+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle with a strong BA background for IT-driven projects.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing Business Analysts or similar staff.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, incidents, and shifting priorities.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work on site in Boston, MA four days per week (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the BA intake process for new project requests and enhancements.
• Partner with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Assign BA resources based on priority, skills, and capacity.
• Maintain a current worklist of projects, issues, and priorities.
• Triage, log, and coordinate production incidents; track to resolution.
• Coordinate project estimation and deliver cost estimates to stakeholders.
• Gather dependencies to support project schedules.
• Monitor budget spend and advise on issues.
