LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. seeks a BA/BS Counselor to provide comprehensive counseling services using evidence-based practices to support clients' mental health and well-being.

You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, deliver individual and group counseling, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a counseling or mental health setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to coordinate care and provide holistic support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in counseling practices.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
