Oberlin College Office of Admissions is seeking BA+BFA students to serve as Admissions Ambassadors and host prospective students overnight in PRAX house. The role includes overnight hosting on specific dates and may involve panels, campus navigation, and virtual outreach.
Applicants must be BA+BFA students, with priority for PRAX house residents. Some tasks pay $28 per student hosted per night; other duties pay $14 per hour. Training and an interview are part of the process.
Applications will be reviewed at the beginning of the semester. Applicants will be asked to complete an interview with Admissions staff as part of the hiring process, and if selected will need to complete training.

The Office of Admissions is hiring BA+BFA Admissions Ambassadors to host Prospective BA+BFA students overnight in PRAX house!
BA+BFA Ambassadors are required to host prospective students in their dorms during overnight programs the nights of Tuesday September 22 and Tuesday October 27.
There may also be opportunities to appear on panels, help visitors find their way across campus, and connect with prospective students virtually.
The position pays $28/prospective student hosted overnight, and $14/hour for other work. This position is for BA+BFA students only. We would like to fill the positions with students living in PRAX house, however you may be considered if you live in on-campus housing or OSCA . (You will also be considered for our general Ambassador program.)
Host students in on-campus housing the nights of Tuesday September 22 and Tuesday October 27. Hosting is a mandatory requirement for this job.
Other shift opportunities:
You must be a BA+BFA student to apply for this position. Priority given to students living in PRAX house, but must live in campus or OSCA housing.
All students are eligible to apply regardless of year (first-years are encouraged to apply).
Desired Qualifications: Experience with a variety of Oberlin programs and/or student organizations.
Conduct and Title IX Check Consent
Admission Ambassador applicants must give consent for the Admissions Office to request an Oberlin College Conduct Check in order to be hired as an Admissions Ambassador. Conduct checks are confidential.
