Job summary

Oberlin College Development is seeking 2nd & 3rd year Studio Art majors to serve as student ambassadors. The position primarily involves interacting with prospective students and their families, providing guided tours of the art facilities, and participating in department events.

Prospective candidates should demonstrate strong public speaking and communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently. This is a unique opportunity to represent the Art Department and contribute to the college community.

Responsibilities

• Provide guided tours of the art facilities.
• Communicate independently with prospective students and provide progress updates.
• Work with Admissions to accommodate campus visitors.
• Attend department events as a student representative.
• Create video content.
• Participate in Zoom sessions with prospective students.
• Attend department open houses.
• Coordinate Zoom, chat, and tour sessions for All Roads lead to Oberlin.
• Other projects as needed.
• Participation in the Art Students Committee is also encouraged.
