Job summary

Eastern Airlines seeks an experienced Boeing 777 Captain to command commercial flights from multiple bases across the United States. As Captain, you will hold final authority for the safe, compliant operation, leading a professional crew and coordinating with Operations and Maintenance to deliver a world-class passenger and cargo experience.

Candidates must have extensive wide-body PIC time, FAA ATP, and the ability to manage CRM and crew resources under demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Total time 7,000+ hours in turboprop/turbojet aircraft.
• PIC time 2,000+ hours multi-crew/multi-engine.
• Part 121 experience and CFR 121.436 compliance.
• FAA ATP certificate and Class One Medical.

Responsibilities

• Exercise final authority for safe conduct of each flight.
• Direct and mentor the First Officer and crew; apply CRM.
• Verify airworthiness, docs, fuel, and weight-and-balance.
• Review flight plans, weather, terrain and regulations.
• Make operational decisions to start, delay, or divert flights.
• Coordinate with SOC and Chief Pilot on decisions.
• Report deviations and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain flight and duty records and crew rest checks.
• Uphold cabin and flight deck standards for each leg.
