Job summary

You will lead outbound outreach, negotiate payment plans, and collaborate with Legal and Sales to ensure compliance and timely resolution. This role requires strong negotiation, communication, and Excel/Power BI skills; familiarity with AR systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in B2B collections, Accounts Receivable, or related finance role.
• Construction or Trade industry experience is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Power BI.
• Familiarity with AR/Credit systems (e.g., Bectran).
• Good written and verbal communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Negotiation - conduct high-volume outreach to commercial customers with past-due balances and negotiate payment commitments.
• Account Reconciliation - research and resolve billing discrepancies, missing POs, or POD disputes.
• Documentation - maintain detailed, legally defensible notes in ERP/Credit software.
• Legal & Lien Initiation - identify accounts for lien actions and prepare documentation for review.
• Risk Management - monitor aging reports and place accounts on Credit Hold as needed.
