Job summary

Consertus is seeking a creative, strategic Social Media & Content Specialist to lead editorial planning, content creation, publishing, engagement, analytics, and optimization. Reporting to the Vice President of Brand & Corporate Communications, you will drive campaigns, thought leadership, and awards submissions, while collaborating with executives and teams to scale impact.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in social media, content marketing, or corporate communications.
• Experience independently managing professional social media channels, publishing schedules, and content calendars.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and editorial judgment, including simplifying complex topics.
• Strong understanding of B2B social media and content marketing.
• Experience with social media scheduling, management, and analytics platforms and interpreting performance data.
• Strong organization, project management, stakeholder management, and deadline management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, work independently, and collaborate with senior leaders and creative teams.
• Portfolio or work samples showing social media writing, campaigns, content development, or channel management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media plans with editorial calendars, publishing schedules, and platform‑specific messaging.
• Manage day‑to‑day channel publishing with brand consistency and timely execution.
• Monitor trends, competitor activity, and industry conversations to identify opportunities for visibility and growth.
• Source stories and content opportunities from milestones, client successes, events, and news.
• Write and edit engaging, on‑brand social copy and adapt materials into social content.
• Develop briefs for graphics, video, and digital assets; collaborate with creative teams as needed.
• Translate technical topics into accessible content while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Coordinate approvals and maintain editorial governance before publication.
• Support website copy, articles, and thought leadership materials.
• Organize and maintain marketing content and assets for easy access.
