Job summary

Campfire, a next-gen core accounting platform, seeks a senior SEO leader to own organic search strategy and the AI-generated answer surfaces. You’ll shape the roadmap, drive technical and content programs, and build measurement to prove impact across the pipeline.

You’ll collaborate with Content/Storytelling and Social teams, optimize crawlability, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and multi-region SEO as the EMEA build-out progresses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2B SEO with proven pipeline impact.
• Hands-on with the standard toolkit (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog) and CMS.
• Understanding of how LLM-based search and answer engines retrieve, rank and cite sources.
• Strong technical SEO fundamentals; you write specs engineers can act on.
• Content strategy: brief writers, edit for clarity, know what a source-worthy page looks like.
• Analytical and structured; you build measurement before you scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the organic strategy and roadmap: keyword and topic research, site architecture, technical SEO, on-page and internal linking, and a content program tied to pipeline.
• Build the answer-engine optimization program: identify questions buyers ask LLMs and AI search surfaces, structure content for retrieval and citation.
• Co-plan with Content / Storytelling: own search-intent content, align with brand voice and calendar.
• Collaborate with Social Media Manager on Reddit/community presence to improve AEO visibility.
• Own technical SEO health with web owner/agency: crawlability, Core Web Vitals, structured data, migrations, site performance.
• Build measurement for rankings, organic pipeline, AI-visibility tracking, and reporting.
• Run digital PR and link-earning programs based on original data and research.
