CFS is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join our collaborative accounting team in Bartlett, IL. The role focuses on B2B collections, account reconciliation, and resolving payment discrepancies while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in AR and B2B collections, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to manage high-volume collections with competing deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts receivable and B2B collections experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Ability to manage high-volume collections, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
• Experience in a high-volume, business-to-business environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily B2B collections activities and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
• Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due invoices and payment commitments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Research and resolve misapplied payments, unapplied cash, deductions, and chargebacks.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts to support cash flow and DSO goals.
