Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Client Retention Representatives to join our Baltimore team, serving businesses throughout the Greater Baltimore area. You will work with business owners to review energy plans, propose supplier options, and grow a portfolio through renewals and new business development.

This role offers two compensation paths—base pay plus commission or commission-only—with paid training and ongoing career coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer's needs.
• Support customers through future renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (within ~30 miles of the office).
