Project Resources Group (PRG) seeks a Claims Recovery Specialist for our Charlotte, NC office. Join a growing team focused on recovering third-party property and utility damage claims in a B2B setting. Candidates with collections or insurance adjusting background are highly relevant; base salary plus commission is offered.

Ideal applicants are detail-oriented, comfortable with negotiation, and able to manage multiple state-line claims with a proactive, professional approach.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in claims, recovery, and/or the insurance industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in B2B construction, claims management, recovery, or insurance claim negotiation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and negotiate claims recovery of repair and replacement costs on third-party damages via phone, email and letters.
• Work with liable parties’ insurance providers to defend and settle claims.
• Collaborate with claims departments and management of liable parties, from small businesses to municipalities.
• Learn and apply state dig laws, 811 requirements, NESC standards, CGA guidelines.
• Conduct 40–50 inbound/outbound calls daily and document recovery steps in the Claims Database Tool.
• Coordinate handling of claims to be worked twice weekly using calendar/diary systems.
• Attend weekly department meetings to discuss tactics and goals.
• Maintain knowledge of the full PRG claims recovery process.
