Job summary

Project Resources Group in Denver, CO is seeking a Claims Recovery Specialist to recover third-party property and utility damage claims in a fast-paced B2B setting. You will negotiate settlements, liaise with insurers, and build relationships with liable parties and investigators.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in claims or insurance-related roles, strong negotiation and communication skills, and are comfortable with a daily volume of calls.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and strong written/verbal communication.
• Experience with claims recovery, recovery processes or insurance claims negotiation preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and negotiate claims recovery for repair and replacement costs across state lines via phone, email and letters.
• Work with insurance providers to defend and settle claims.
• Collaborate with claims departments and management of liable parties from small businesses to municipalities.
• Learn state dig laws, 811 requirements, NESC standards and CGA guidelines.
