Project Resources Group, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a detail‑oriented Claims Recovery Specialist to recover third-party property and utility damages in a B2B setting. The role emphasizes negotiation and coordination with insurers and field investigators.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in claims or insurance, strong communication, and tech proficiency with MS Word/Outlook/Excel. We offer hourly pay of $20–$24 plus commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in claims, recovery, and/or the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with construction, cable, or utility locate industries is advantageous.
• College education is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on professional phone and email correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and negotiate claims recovery of repair and replacement costs on third-party cable/fiber and utility damages across multiple state lines, via phone, email, and letters.
• Work directly with liable parties’ insurance providers to defend and negotiate claims settlements.
• Collaborate with claims departments and management of liable parties, from small businesses to large corporations to municipalities.
• Learn, understand, and utilize state dig laws, 811 excavator requirements, NESC standards, CGA guidelines, etc.
• Develop professional working relationships with damaging parties, on-site field investigators, management, and other personnel.
