Job summary

Tyson Foods in Logansport, IN is seeking team members for the B shift in our pork processing facility. This role requires skilled processing tasks and safe operation of forklifts and handling equipment.

You will follow all food safety and quality procedures, move products through production, and be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 months' work history with the same employer.
• Production experience in a meat processing facility is preferred.

These positions require advanced skills and experience in a production environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform skilled processing tasks involving pork products and product handling.

• Move, transport, and handle products and materials throughout the production process.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a manufacturing/processing environment that may be wet, humid, cold, hot, or otherwise variable. Temperatures may range from approximately 35°F to over 100°F, depending on the work area.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete or other hard surfaces.

Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive use of hands and arms.

May require climbing ladders and working from elevated platforms.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials as required by the position, including lifting up to 150 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 140 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
