Job Title: B Mechanic - 3rd Shift - Washington, Pennsylvania

Type: Full Time

Core Hours: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery used to produce commercial electrical products. The Mechanic must demonstrate competency in operating and repairing production equipment, including automated production lines, clampers, tappers, automatic screwdrivers, and mechanical power presses.

Responsibilities:

1. Effectively troubleshoot production line and other equipment malfunctions.
2. Maintain equipment and perform daily tasks focusing on safety and efficiency.
3. Perform changeovers on welders, production lines, and equipment.
4. Assist in loading coils onto automated lines.
5. Conduct daily preventive maintenance and lubrication, including power press inspections and safety checks.
6. Perform intermediate electrical tasks safely.
7. Handle hot work permit tasks such as welding, cutting, and brazing.
8. Retain skills through assigned training and requirements.
9. Follow safety practices including fire safety, fall protection, crane operations, and industrial lift truck operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of experience OR an Associate Degree/Technical School Diploma in electrical, electro-mechanical, or mechanical fields with at least 1 year of experience.
• Experience with electrical, instrumentation, control, electro-mechanical, or mechanical maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, multimeters, and measuring equipment.
• Willing to work on any shift, including overtime and weekends.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Reside within 50 miles of Washington, PA; no relocation benefits offered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow.

Skills and Certifications:

Manufacturing maintenance skills. Must reside within 50 miles of the facility. Active-duty military personnel are excluded.
