Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Class B Transmission Lineman to build, repair and maintain overhead transmission lines on energized and de-energized systems. Travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed.

You will operate bucket trucks and handling heavy equipment, climb structures, and work outdoors in all weather while upholding strict safety protocols and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Three years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL is required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Work outdoors in all weather and overtime as needed.
• Safety-focused with PPE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair electrical transmission systems.
• Work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to different job sites.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Climb structures and work at heights, in varying weather.
• Respond to outages, storms and emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE and insulation practices.
