Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems. You will travel to various job sites, report to the Foreman, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements include 3 years of transmission line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel and work overtime. The role involves climbing structures and operating heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergencies, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers; use proper test equipment.
