Job summary

VDart Inc. seeks an Azure VMware Support specialist for our Bellevue, WA onsite location.

The role focuses on defining and delivering cloud support services to win in the cloud marketplace, with emphasis on virtualization, Azure IaaS, and related VM, storage, and networking components. You will troubleshoot VM availability, performance, and security while collaborating with Azure engineering groups and CSS Azure support teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud providers such as VMware, GCP, AWS.
• Experience with Windows Server or Linux environments and OS concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and RCAs.
• PowerShell scripting and JSON template deployments a plus.
• Experience with Azure services IaaS.
• Ability to resolve complex cloud integration issues (Azure VM, Storage, Networking).
• Knowledge of Azure Engineering Groups.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the support services required to win in the cloud marketplace.
• Lead integration with relevant CSS Azure support talent to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Virtual Machine availability, performance, scalability and security.

Role: Azure VMware Support

Job Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite)

Summary

• The definition and implementation of the support services required to win in the cloud market place.
• Good core understanding on Virtualization technologies. Having worked with any cloud provider such as VMware, GCP, AWS etc. is preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server or Linux environments, good understanding of Operating system concepts - Windows OS, Linux OS, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL etc. Active Directory, Networking, Storage.

Preferred

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with respect to Virtual Machine availability, performance, scalability and security. Work on RCAs as per customer requirements.
• Hands on with PowerShell scripting, JSON template deployments is an added advantage.
• Any prior experience with Azure services IaaS is preferred.
• Resolving customer issues including complex technical scenarios integrating several cloud capabilities - Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking etc. and scenarios supporting the service such as service availability, quality etc.
• Knowledge on Azure Engineering Groups.
