Job summary

VDart is seeking a cloud support professional to define and implement services required to win in the cloud marketplace. The role requires solid virtualization background and experience with major cloud providers.

You will work with Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, networking and storage expertise to resolve issues and improve service quality. Preferred candidates have hands-on PowerShell scripting, JSON template deployments, and Azure IaaS familiarity, and will lead escalation

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, GCP, AWS) preferred.
• Strong OS concepts for Windows and Linux servers, AD, networking and storage knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot VM availability, performance, scalability and security, with RCA focus.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement support services for cloud marketplace success.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud issues across Azure/other providers; ensure service availability and quality.
• Lead integration with CSS Azure support talent to resolve issues.

Job description

• The definition and implementation of the support services required to win in the cloud market place.
• Good core understanding on Virtualization technologies. Having worked with any cloud provider such as VMware, GCP, AWS etc. is preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server or Linux environments, good understanding of Operating system concepts — Windows OS, Linux OS, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL etc. Active Directory, Networking, Storage.

Preferred

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with respect to Virtual Machine availability, performance, scalability and security. Work on RCAs as per customer requirements.
• Hands on with PowerShell scripting, JSON template deployments is an added advantage.
• Any prior experience with Azure services IaaS is preferred.
• Resolving customer issues including complex technical scenarios integrating several cloud capabilities — Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking etc. and scenarios supporting the service such as service availability, quality etc.
