Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and deliver Terraform-based Azure platform patterns across core services. You will create reusable modules, establish golden onboarding paths for USB applications, and document standards for enterprise governance.

You will also provision Azure services with Terraform and collaborate with SRE/CloudOps to build reliable, scalable foundations while maintaining strong security controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Terraform experience building modules and managing environments/state.
• Experience with Azure services AKS, ARO, Front Door, Storage, APIM, Functions, and Azure SQL.
• Experience building CI/CD automation with GitHub & GitHub Actions.
• Strong security practices: RBAC, least privilege, secrets mgmt, deployment guardrails.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration; translate requirements into standardized building blocks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and reference architectures/patterns.
• Create “golden path” onboarding patterns for rapid provisioning of USB applications (network + compute + security + observability).
• Produce high-quality module documentation (inputs/outputs, examples, versioning) and enforce coding standards across repos. Azure Platform Delivery (Core Services).
• Provision and support Azure services using Terraform, including (but not limited to).
• Partner with SRE/CloudOps to implement reliable, scalable, and secure cloud foundations.
