Troon’s Corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support our cloud-first environments. The role involves hands-on work across Azure services, networking, identity, and security, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

This full-time position requires 3–6 years' systems engineering experience, strong Azure skills, PowerShell, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Practical experience with Azure Virtual Networks and cloud networking concepts.
• Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and Azure Virtual Networks (VNets).
• Administer Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN connectivity, private endpoints, and load balancing services.
• Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and cost using Azure-native tools.
• Participate in infrastructure projects such as cloud deployments, upgrades, and platform improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and identity-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable cloud solutions.
