Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking an Azure Platform Administrator to support and enhance cloud-based mission systems across Azure environments. The role involves operating core Azure services, securing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with IT, cybersecurity, and development teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of cloud administration experience in Azure, plus an AZ-104 certification or ability to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud administration experience, preferably in Azure.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with eligible security clearances.
• Current Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• DoD 8140 IAM Level II or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support mission workloads in Azure, including VMs, storage, networking, and identity services (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop deployments (host pools, session hosts, app delivery).
• Implement and maintain Azure security controls including conditional access, RBAC, and policy enforcement.
• Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs for consistent platform use.
