Job summary

SarelaTech seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to deliver integrated cybersecurity and systems engineering for Azure‑hosted workloads in IL5/IL6 environments. You will design secure architectures, automate controls, and coordinate incident response with DISA and program stakeholders.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, active Secret clearance, and DoD/ RMF expertise. This is a 100% onsite position in Chantilly, VA with no travel costs covered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4 years may substitute for degree.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain secure architectures for Azure-hosted services.
• Build, configure, and administer Azure VMs with OS hardening and patching.
• Develop and operate Azure Automation Runbooks for secure operations and compliance.
• Provide consultative guidance on secure design patterns, Zero Trust, IAM, and boundary protections.
• Support RMF/ATO activities and maintain RMF artifacts (SSP, SAR, POA&M).
• Coordinate incident response, triage, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
• Document governance artifacts and drive continuous improvement in automation and monitoring.
