Job summary
LMI seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to support an Army program modernizing platform infrastructure with secure, cloud-enabled systems. You will serve as a cybersecurity advisor to ISSM, System Owners, and engineering teams, maintaining authorization artifacts and guiding remediation within Agile delivery.
The role requires an active Secret clearance, 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, and DoDI 8140 qualification, with strong RMF, STIG, and cloud security knowledge across AWS GovCloud and Azure
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, RMF, or secure systems operations.
- Active DoDI 8140 qualification.
- Strong DoD cloud security knowledge (AWS GovCloud, Azure IL5/IL6).
- Experience developing or maintaining RMF artifacts and POA&Ms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the RMF authorization package and eMASS artifacts.
- Prepare and maintain RMF artifacts like SSP, SAR, and continuous monitoring strategy.
- Coordinate remediation and track POA&Ms in eMASS and ticketing systems.
- Work with system owners, cloud architects, and engineers to define remediation timelines.
- Assess security control implementation and integration into cloud and Agile workflows.
- Review evidence for ISSM/Authorizing Official approvals and monitor vulnerabilities.
