Job summary

CGS is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Developer to join our team supporting a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform focused on providing data solutions that empower our federal customers.

You will support a migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL and manage database environments proactively, ensuring scalability and high performance as the organization grows. The role requires strong Linux administration and 7+ years of PostgreSQL experience.

Qualifications

• 7 years of PostgreSQL administration in Linux environments.
• Experience migrating Oracle to PostgreSQL using Ora2Pg.
• Backup and disaster recovery implementation experience.
• Ability to document technical solutions using templates.

Responsibilities

• Migrate from Oracle to PostgreSQL in Azure/AWS environments.
• Maintain and monitor database performance and availability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support Agile development processes.
