Job summary

CALLED OUT: CACI seeks an Azure Platform Lead - Engineering Manager to oversee a team delivering Azure infrastructure, AVD, and platform services within a large enterprise environment. You will guide technical direction, drive delivery, and ensure reliability while coordinating across security and network teams.

You will mentor engineers, manage workloads, and maintain strong ownership and communication with leadership to align with mission-driven objectives.

Qualifications

• Ability to attain DHS EOD
• Bachelor's degree with extensive enterprise IT/cloud experience
• 10+ years in enterprise IT environments
• 5+ years of engineering team management in large enterprises
• Experience with Azure design, deployment, and operations

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team supporting Azure infrastructure, AVD, and platform services
• Establish and maintain consistent team cadence with 1:1s, performance management, and prioritization
• Drive accountability across the team including senior engineers
• Ensure operational processes, risk management, and reliability
• Own onboarding, transitions, and workload distribution across the team
• Provide clear communication to leadership on status, risks, and priorities
• Partner with engineering, security, and network teams for aligned execution
• Translate architectural direction into actionable plans with ownership
• Delegate technical work while maintaining delivery visibility
