Job summary

Indiana Farmers Insurance is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and improve a hybrid infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure cloud services. You will lead cloud modernization, automate infrastructure, and collaborate with security and business teams to deliver secure and scalable technology solutions.

The role supports enterprise on-premises systems and requires coordination with IT and application teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–10 years in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networking, and systems administration.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments in enterprises.
• Automation experience using PowerShell, IaC, config management, or similar tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Project management skills for large initiatives.
