Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud & GitHub Platform Engineer in Vienna, VA for a multiyear contract. The role requires 7+ years in cloud/platform/DevOps and at least 5 years Azure, with hybrid onsite 3 days a week.

You will build and secure enterprise Azure and Kubernetes platforms, manage GitHub Enterprise and Actions, implement IAM governance, and drive CI/CD automation with robust governance and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform/DevOps.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience administering AKS, Azure services, and GitHub Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support Azure cloud platform services.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AKS clusters and related services.
• Automate and standardize GitHub Enterprise environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish least-privilege IAM models using Entra ID, RBAC, and PIM.
• Develop IaC using ARM templates and Packer; enable deployment governance.
