Job summary

Zohorecruit in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Azure OpenShift Consultant to design, deploy and optimize OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters. You will automate deployments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers in a private cloud environment. Strong Linux, scripting (Python, Bash), and AKS/ARO experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Combined minimum 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters via custom pipelines.
• Review new cluster configurations and pipelines to ensure non-disruptive results.
• Identify, recommend, and implement upgrades for optimal performance.
• Lead infra automation and CD using CI/CD in private virtualized environment.
• Document new services/infrastructure and keep documentation updated per best practices.
• Collaborate with management, senior engineers, and support teams to design and execute technical solutions.
• Include infra architecture, research, and development of new or expanded systems; create tech standards and policies.
• Mentor and coach engineers, technicians, and integrators.
• Maintain knowledge of customer apps, systems, environments, and vendor technologies.
• Expand knowledge of Financial Services trends and technologies continually.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and support tickets as needed.
• Follow industry best practices, standards, and procedures; perform related duties.
