Job summary

Zohorecruit in the United States is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead middleware platforms, automate deployments, and mentor junior engineers. You will design resilient platforms, implement automation using IaC, and collaborate across teams to speed time to market.

The role requires deep experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud services (AWS/Azure). You will establish standards, drive security practices, and optimize performance across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 12+ years of equivalent IT experience.
• 10-15+ years of related IT work experience.
• Hands-on with OpenShift (OCP) or similar Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with IaC tooling.
• Proficiency with Terraform and cloud services (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available middleware platforms and solutions.
• Drive automation initiatives using IaC and DevOps practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for containerized apps.
• Manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in enterprise environments.
• Implement Istio and service mesh for traffic management and security.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting standards for reliability.
• Serve as SME for middleware architectures and best practices.
• Collaborate with security teams to embed DevSecOps controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Document architectures and standard operating procedures.
