Job summary

Willis Towers Watson plc is seeking an IT Operations professional to monitor, troubleshoot, and support Azure, Windows, Linux, and related services in a fast-paced environment. You will follow runbooks, automate recurring tasks, and collaborate with DevOps to improve reliability and security.

Responsibilities include incident response, remediation validation, access control, and maintaining thorough documentation and tickets. Salary $90k-$100k with annual incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT/Cloud operations or related role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Windows and Linux administration.
• Troubleshoot using monitoring tools, logs, runbooks, and documented procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and access-management concepts.
• Practical experience with Terraform and IaC workflows.
• Ability to write/maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, firewalls/NSGs, load balancing, and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure and respond to operational alerts and requests.
• Investigate incidents using runbooks, dashboards, logs, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform approved remediation and validation such as restarting services, validating configurations, or executing recovery procedures.
• Gather diagnostics and elevate complex issues to domain teams.
• Support day-to-day Azure, Windows, Linux, VM, storage, SFTP, certificate, secret, and backup ops.
• Write and maintain scripts to automate tasks.
• Maintain accurate tickets, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and other domain teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Identify recurring work that can be simplified, standardized, or automated.
