Job summary

Patient First is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to support hybrid infrastructure operations and move toward a standardized Azure platform operating model. You will blend systems administration, monitoring, backup, patching, and incident response with future-state Azure delivery, IaC, landing zones, and pipeline-integrated deployment practices.

You will deploy and manage Azure environments, enhance IaC templates, and drive governance via landing zones and subscriptions.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or hybrid cloud operations.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure compute, storage, identity, monitoring, and hybrid integration patterns.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines experience.
• Proven troubleshooting and documentation skills in complex hybrid environments.
• Azure Administrator Associate or comparable certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage standardized Azure dev/test/prod environments using landing zones and subscriptions.
• Develop and modify reusable IaC templates with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM tooling.
• Implement cloud platform configurations for compute, storage, identity, backup, and monitoring.
• Support migration to governed, template-driven platform services.
• Integrate infrastructure deployment into CI/CD pipelines and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve infrastructure issues and ensure incident response readiness.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational handoff materials for supported systems.
