Job summary

HKA is seeking a Senior Infrastructure and Security Engineer to strengthen our enterprise security and cloud infrastructure. This hybrid role is based in the USA and reports to the Infrastructure Services Manager in the UK, joining an international team across the USA, UK, and beyond.

You will work with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and Intune, drive Zero Trust adoption, and influence security strategy while ensuring resilience, performance, and

Qualifications

Proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and security.
Experience securing large-scale cloud and hybrid environments.
Strong understanding of identity, access, and data protection.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and improve global infrastructure across Windows, Microsoft 365, cloud, hybrid, networking, virtualization, storage, monitoring, backup, and disaster-recovery environments.
Support Azure and hybrid-cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, resilience, backup/recovery, and cost management.
Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and service issues; lead root-cause analysis and implement lasting improvements.
Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, recovery procedures, and technical standards.
