Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking a Sr Infrastructure Platform Solutions Engineer focused on Azure and hybrid environments. You will lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and security, with emphasis on automation and DevOps practices.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Windows and Linux, virtualization, HCI, and IaC, delivering high availability and resilient platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve

Qualifications

8 years of infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or architecture experience.
Strong Microsoft Azure experience including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, governance, monitoring, and hybrid cloud services.
Hands-on administration of Windows Server and Unix/Linux platforms.
Experience standardizing hardening, patching, and securing enterprise server environments.
Experience with virtualization and HCI platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, Azure Stack HCI.
Strong understanding of storage (SAN/NAS), backup, DR, and business continuity.
Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, WAFs.
Experience delivering high availability and resilience for infrastructure and business-critical apps.
SQL Server concepts: performance, backup/recovery, availability.
IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar.
Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and tooling.
PowerShell, Python, Bash for infrastructure automation.
Strong L3 troubleshooting, log analysis, incident management, problem resolution.
Excellent written and verbal communication across infra, security, cloud, and app teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support Azure hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Provide technical leadership across compute, virtualization, HCI, storage, networking, identity, security, and platform operations.
Standardize and harden Windows and Linux servers using security baselines and best practices.
Lead vulnerability remediation, patch management, OS lifecycle, and compliance initiatives.
Design and support highly available infrastructure solutions including load balancing, WAF, and clustering.
Configure and support networking technologies with DNS, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, IaC, and DevOps practices.
Provide L3 engineering support for complex incidents, root cause analysis, and problem management.
Analyze system, application, and security logs to troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
Partner with application operations, security, database, and infrastructure teams for reliable platforms.
Drive performance optimization, capacity planning, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement.
