Job summary

iT1, a leading national technology solution provider in Tempe, AZ, seeks a motivated Solutions Architect for Azure to join our Consulting team. You will design and deliver complex cloud-based solutions, focusing on Microsoft technologies, data analytics, BI, and governance across industries.

You will host workshops, prepare technical specs, mentor other architects, and collaborate with Pre-Sales, developers, and project managers to ensure successful outcomes and scalable, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/CE/IS or related field
• 7+ years of senior-level experience with related technologies
• 7+ years in a technical consulting role including implementations
• Strong oral and written communication
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team and individually
• Azure IaaS: ASR, Backup, Networking, ARM templates, Fabric, Purview
• Physical to Virtual migrations (P2V)
• Core data center skills: storage, networking, Windows Server administration
• Scripting and automation
• Microsoft certification in 3-4 competency areas
• Advanced technical skill in 1-2 complimentary areas
• Experience presenting to clients and leading workshops

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Azure cloud-based architectures aligned with client objectives
• Host workshops to gather requirements and present solutions
• Define data governance and security practices for Microsoft tech
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance, cost and scalability
• Prepare comprehensive client documentation and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project outcomes
• Mentor other architects and engineers
• Participate in planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings
• Deliver globally available, secure and reliable service designs
• Stay up-to-date with Microsoft technologies and industry trends
• Manage and report time spent on activities
