Job summary

RED Global is seeking an experienced Azure Architect for a 12-month contract to support a large-scale enterprise cloud environment. The role is primarily remote with periodic onsite requirements in Fort Worth, TX, and strong emphasis on governance, landing zones, and scalable IaC.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in cloud architecture, deep Azure expertise, and proven leadership to cloud engineering teams, with hands-on experience in Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.

Qualifications

Job description

RED is seeking experienced Azure Architects for a 12-month contract opportunity supporting a large-scale enterprise cloud environment. The position will be primarily remote; however, candidates in the Fort Worth, TX area are strongly preferred due to periodic onsite requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring deep Microsoft Azure architecture experience with particular strength in Azure governance, regional landing zones, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience with strong hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise.
• Deep understanding of Azure core services, subscriptions, resource groups, management groups, networking, and enterprise cloud architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure regional landing zones across complex, multi-region environments.
• Strong Azure governance experience including Azure Policy, RBAC, compliance, security standards, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience utilizing Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar IaC technologies.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical architecture and providing technical leadership to cloud engineering teams.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ-305) or equivalent is strongly preferred.
