Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced Azure Hybrid Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise cloud and on‑premises infrastructure across healthcare IT. You will collaborate with clinical and IS teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions and support patient care systems.

You will drive automation, upgrades, and integrations while maintaining regulatory compliance and high availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in enterprise IT.
• Hands-on IaC and build automation with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet.
• 1–2 years Azure cloud engineering experience in production.
• Strong Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID experience.
• Containerization via Kubernetes in Azure environments preferred.
• Experience with APIs, automation, and ITIL/ServiceNow familiarity.
• Healthcare IT background is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and engineer the organization's systems infrastructure and monitor performance.
• Define scope and objectives based on user needs; prepare detailed specs.
• Analyze and revise system logic; document changes and improvements.
• Lead small projects or workstreams within broader programs.
• Provide guidance to teammates and act as a resource for others.
• Support ongoing automation, integrations, and DR/BC approaches.
