Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a hands-on Azure Government Systems Administrator to manage GCC High cloud infrastructure in a CMMC L2 / NIST 800-171r2 environment, handling CUI. You will own day-to-day administration across AKS workloads, Azure CycleCloud for Slurm, and identity governance.

The role emphasizes automation with PowerShell, AzureCLI, and Logic Apps, plus Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and Azure networking. You’ll harden systems, implement policy definitions, monitor costs, and document

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Operational AKS experience with deployments, networking, secrets, node pools, troubleshooting.
• Identity and access at depth: Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, oAuth, Enterprise Applications.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking: Azure Vnets, NSGs, UDRs, S2S VPN.

Responsibilities

• Administer and harden Azure Gov infrastructure: Vnets, storage accounts, NSGs, and UDRs.
• Deploy, patch, and operate containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS).
• Author and maintain Azure Policy definitions, initiatives, and assignments.
• Drive compliance remediation and enforce tagging and guardrails.
• Manage identity and access: Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, PIM.
• Monitor, patch, backup, and troubleshoot Azure resources.
