Job summary

i3 is seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Administrator to support Hybrid-cloud operations at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. You will administer cloud and on‑premise servers, automate provisioning with Terraform, and manage AKS clusters with Azure DevOps workflows.

The role emphasizes security, DISA STIGs, Entra ID RBAC, backup, and disaster recovery. A 3+ year background and U.S. Citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on system administration with cloud experience.
• Strong understanding of storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day administration of cloud and on‑premise servers, provisioning, configuring, and maintaining VMs.
• Use Terraform to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Create, manage, and monitor Azure storage solutions; implement backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups for secure traffic flow.
• Harden systems per DISA STIGs; manage security with Entra ID, RBAC, and Azure Key Vault.
