Halvik Corp in Washington, DC is seeking an Azure Engineer to evaluate, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using DevSecOps practices. The role demands strong Azure proficiency and the ability to align cloud solutions with federal security standards.

The candidate should have 4+ years in cloud/DevOps, active Secret clearance, and experience with governance, budgeting, and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of cloud, DevOps, platform/ cloud engineering, automation, CI/CD or enterprise software delivery experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (VM, storage, networking, security, identity, monitoring).
• Certifications preferred: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent; Certified Cloud Security Professional.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, architect, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using DevSecOps practices.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security, upgrades, and issue resolution to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with NTIA ITD to align cloud budgets with needs.
• Implement Zero Trust, identity governance, and threat protection in cloud designs.
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, EO 14028, CNSSI 1253 and internal policies.
• Design secure landing zones using Azure and Policy.
• Implement Azure governance models including management groups, RBAC, and tagging strategies.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend using Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor.
