Job summary

Halvik Corp is seeking an Azure Engineer to evaluate, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using DevSecOps practices. This on-site role in Washington, DC requires a strong background in Azure services, security, and government compliance.

You will lead budgeting, cost management, and governance for enterprise workloads while collaborating with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of cloud proficiency and 4+ years in DevOps/platform engineering.
• Hands-on Azure experience across VM, storage, networking, security, identity, and monitoring.
• Ability to manage cloud costs and provide leadership with budgets and forecasting.
• Relevant Azure certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer/CSSP).
• Must have an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud spending and develop strategies to optimize costs.
• Architect secure Azure landing zones and governance models (RBAC, tagging).
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure with DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with NTIA ITD and security teams to align cloud needs and security.
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, EO 14028 and related policies.
• Provide architectural oversight for cloud migration and modernization.
