Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and support enterprise cloud solutions in Azure. This role blends cloud development with DevOps practices and CI/CD automation, partnering with architects, QA, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will lead CI/CD implementations, adopt IaC, and mentor peers while collaborating across stakeholders to ensure production readiness and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Azure cloud development experience.
• 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Web Apps, and Azure API Management (APIM).
• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, branching strategies, and release management.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and enterprise design patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and support enterprise cloud solutions in Azure. This role is ideal for a software engineer who combines modern cloud development skills with DevOps best practices and CI/CD automation experience.
