Job summary

You will design and implement Azure-based data lakes, Databricks, and relational/non-relational databases, ensuring secure, scalable data storage and efficient data access. Experience with data modeling and security controls is essential.

• Experience with Azure Databases and Data Lakes (lakehouse).
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with data transformation solutions and cloud infrastructure integrations.
• Experience coding and testing data load utilities in Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with RBAC, encryption, and network security.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, and support of Azure Databases and Data Lakes, focusing on Data Lakehouse and integrated data reserves.
• Design, administer, maintain, and secure data storage solutions.
• Support design and implementation to modernize data-driven service delivery.
• Ensure data assets are structured, accessible, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Recommend data platforms and tools to support enterprise data architecture.
• Develop data models and optimize data access patterns.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet security standards and implement best practices for data security and integrity.
• Support design and development of disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using tools such as Azure Backup or Geo-replication.
• Maintain documentation and provide knowledge transfer.
• Provide mentorship to other architects and database engineers.
