Persistent is seeking an experienced AI/ML Developer to join the UHC initiative on the Surest ASO New Business Project. The role is key to delivering complex enterprise solutions within a tight 24-week window, requiring collaboration with diverse stakeholders and strong AI focus.
The ideal candidate has hands-on AI/ML, programming, and cross-functional experience, with a track record of delivering high-impact enterprise projects. Hybrid work and ongoing learning are emphasized.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of scripting experience.
- 3+ years with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, MS 365 Copilot, and other GenAI agents.
- Cross-functional expertise in AI/ML, Azure IaaS, Databricks, PySpark, and CI/CD & DevOps.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and governing complex enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UHC, Optum, and Palantir stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate data.
- Ensure data quality and regulatory alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as liaison between U.S.-based stakeholders, Palantir teams, and offshore developers.
- Drive critical decisions, remove delivery roadblocks, and maintain momentum.
- Use AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
- Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of enterprise-approved AI tools.
- Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Developer to join our team for the UHC initiative on the Surest ASO New Business Project. This role is critical to the successful implementation of complex enterprise solutions within an aggressive 24-week delivery timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI technology and programming, with a focus on collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with UHC, Optum, and Palantir stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate data, and facilitate testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure data quality and regulatory alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary liaison between U.S.-based stakeholders, Palantir teams, and offshore development resources.
- Drive critical decisions, remove delivery roadblocks, and maintain execution momentum.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
- Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of enterprise-approved AI tools.
- Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Scripting.
- 3 years of experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI Agents.
- Cross-functional expertise in AI ML, Azure IaaS, Databricks, PySpark, and CI CD & DevOps.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and governing complex enterprise solutions.
- Experience with Kafka Messaging Bus.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
