Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Data Architect to define and implement its enterprise data architecture strategy, supporting analytics, reporting, governance, cloud modernization, and AI initiatives. The role partners with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions and migrate from legacy platforms to Azure-based technologies.

The position requires collaboration across data engineers, BI specialists, and application teams, with in-office presence at the Dallas, TX site four

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Data Management or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in Data/Enterprise Architecture and BI, incl. 4–6 years cloud analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Storage, SQL, Power BI, and dbt.
• Experience leading legacy-to-cloud migrations and SAP data environments.
• Experience implementing Data Governance, Data Stewardship, data lineage, and data products.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Dal-Tile's enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
• Establish architecture standards for dbt, Azure services, Power BI, and data governance; evaluate Microsoft Fabric value.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure documentation of decisions, patterns, and quality objectives.
• Partner with business/tech leaders to deliver governed self-service analytics and trusted data products.
