Job summary

Priority1 is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our IT team, focusing on Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and cloud security. You will work with infrastructure, security, development, and data teams to support and enhance our cloud environment, with emphasis on Azure and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience in systems or cloud administration.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online.
• Understanding of Azure RBAC, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, DNS, VPNs, and virtualization.
• Basic PowerShell experience and an interest in automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to independently research and resolve unfamiliar technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure resources, including VMs, storage, networking, monitoring, and related cloud services.
• Manage Azure access using RBAC, managed identities, service principals, and app registrations.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity troubleshooting.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including mailboxes, mail flow, and permissions.
• Assist with Azure and cloud security, including least-privilege access and Defender technologies.
• Support Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, backup, monitoring, and cloud projects.
• Use PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve cloud, identity, access, connectivity, and security issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of the cloud.
